Ms Jonquil Izard has been Headteacher of Forty Hill School since September 2021. Previous to this, Ms Izard was Deputy Headteacher and SENDCo at Forty Hill School for 5 years. Ms Izard completed the National Qualification in Special Educational Needs Co-ordination in 2018. She has been a teacher for 16 years and trained at Middlesex University whilst teaching at Keys Meadow Primary School in Enfield Lock. She is also trained to teach Modern Foreign Languages at Primary level, lead training of Relationship and Sex Education and has been a mentor to trainee teachers for 6 years. Ms Izard is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider. Ms Izard has also adapted and co-directed three plays by Shakespeare for primary school to perform in theatres. Prior to becoming a teacher, Ms Izard ran a bookshop and is Mum to two sons now at University.
