Mrs Funmi Worrell
I became a governor in October 2017. I have lived in Enfield since 2011 and discovered a lovely local community via the church and now as part of the school. My son joined the school in September 2019 and we are all delighted to start this new phase of his life in the school which was by far our first choice of the primary schools in Enfield.
I hope to apply the skills and knowledge that I have developed in the work-place in my role as a governor. I work in the healthcare setting for the NHS and have been a public health specialist and a pharmacist for a number of years.
I truly believe, as evidence shows, that the early years are the most important time for people to develop and be successful in life. Education has a huge potential to help each individual child have every opportunity from their early years and beyond; this is what Forty Hill School tries to achieve for every single child.
I want to do my bit to help ensure the children in our school community can take advantage of every opportunity they have and continue to thrive.
