Admissions
Services are held each week on Sundays at 8.00am and 10.30am and on Wednesday at 9.15am
We have an open door policy which welcomes parents into the school and we encourage parents to make an appointment to see the school before making their decision about the school's suitability for their child.
The number of children on the school roll at present is 234 being seven classes of thirty plus up to 24 children in our Nursery.
Reception Admissions
Children may enter the Reception Class at the beginning of the academic year in which they are five. During their visit to the school, the Admission Procedure will be explained to the parents, and they will be given a Supplementary Information Form.
Applications for Reception need to be made via the Online Portal for admissions www.eadmissions.org.uk. In addition, it will be necessary to complete a Supplementary Information Application Form by the middle of January of the year in which the child is expected to start school. This Supplementary form should be returned to the school, but the Governing Body cannot accept responsibility for non-delivery, and it is the parent's responsibility to ensure that the completed form must be submitted by the relevant closing date which will be decided annually.
Admission to the school will be determined by the Governing Body and is dependent upon the number of applications received and the admission criteria in place at that time, which are subjected to an annual review. The current criteria are below along with the Supplementary Information Application form for Reception.
Nursery Admissions (Ages 3–4)
We are pleased to offer up to 24 nursery places for children aged 3 to 4 years. Nursery admissions follow the school’s admissions criteria, and parents and carers are asked to complete a Nursery Supplementary Information Form. As a church school, all nursery applications should be returned directly to the school office. We kindly ask that completed forms are submitted by mid-February.
