We finally were able to hold our Forty Hill College Showcase on Wednesday 4th January after having to postpone before Christmas. The Year 5 and 6 students took enormous pride sharing their learning, and it was lovely for parents to see the incredible skills the children are learning in all areas of College. We were treated to a wonderful quick version of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by the drama group, able to see the beautiful pencil cases sewn by the Sewing group including zips! As well as this, the Sports group shared the range of sports they have explored and gave a demonstration of their badminton skills. The Art Group spoke about the artists they had studied in depth and exhibited their work inspired by this. We were given a fantastic performance by Mrs Munt's Music group who played a piece on the ocarinas- and I was extremely impressed by the range of technical language they used when talking about their learning. Finally, the Cooking Group amused us all with a very comical presentation and shared the wide range of delicious recipes they had created over the 10-week course.
