Forty Hill C.E. School

About Us

Forty Hill is a one-form entry Church of England Primary School with a Nursery, set in a beautiful semi-rural location on the outskirts of Enfield. We have a close relationship with our local church, Jesus Church, and our children attend regular services throughout the year. The school and church work together to provide the children with an education underpinned by Christian values. Every child is valued for their uniqueness and expected to do their very best in all areas of school life. From an early age, children are encouraged to explore and share their own beliefs, whilst showing respect for the beliefs and opinions of others. Our theologically rooted Vision forms the foundations for our safe and welcoming Christian Community, where we work to give every child, every opportunity, to become fulfilled, healthy and successful. At Forty Hill, we develop confidence within our children, as well as fostering respect for themselves and others. We are Global Neighbours, who show compassion towards each other, the wider community and our environment. We recognise the need to be reflective both personally and in the wider issues we face in our world today.

Our progressive and creative curriculum, along with wide-ranging pupil responsibilities, enable our children to grow and meet challenges with resilience using a growth mindset. Our holistic approach to our children’s development enables them to flourish both socially and academically, to become courageous advocates and empowered citizens of the future.
