As a one form Church of England Primary School we enjoy a wonderfully green location on the edge of London. Just 9 miles from the centre of our capital city, and yet we are surrounded by woodland, fields and parkland.
Our 210 children come from all around the local area, some travelling quite significant distances to be at Forty Hill.
The school enjoys a very stable staff team of over 30 people with a wide range of experiences and together we work as a team to provide an enjoyable and rich curriculum for our children. A sample of some of the things we do are shown on this website.
The life of a primary school is amazingly diverse and busy. Over the course of a school year there will probably be over a 1000 individuals (children, parents, carers, school staff, local community, local authority personnel, visitors etc) who at some point become involved with the school to a lesser or greater degree, even in a small school like Forty Hill.
We are committed to the Government's Primary Strategy aims of 'Excellence and Enjoyment'. The standards achieved by the school in many areas of school life are excellent as identified by our Local Authority and formal and informal feedback from the children and parents suggests that the children enjoy coming to school each day.
